What boy or girl In the 1940s, 50, and 60s didn’t play Cowboys and Indians? It was always harmless and imaginative play that could last all day. Some of the favorite characters were Davy Crocket, Roy Rogers, Wyatt Earp, Hopalong Cassidy, and The Lone Ranger. Toy companies were fast to cater to these trends and produced a large selection of Western toys including toy guns, holsters, play sets, figures, hats and clothing.
